Liftoff+: Biotype-aware DNA Annotation Lift-over (2024)

We generated an improved Ash1 genome annotation by leveraging the complete T2T-CHM13 reference, targeted liftover strategies, and curated handling of rDNA, VDJ, and protein-coding gene families for higher accuracy, especially on the Y chromosome. We produce a more complete and biologically reliable population-specific annotation, strengthening downstream genomic interpretation.

Utilized MATLAB to perform temporal alignment and visualized kinematics data of PSM in dVRK and AMBF. Worked on minimizing the reality gap and ensuring better transferability of simulated results to real-world scenarios.
